Hello all,

I was looking to pre order the W205 C400. I talked to the corporate 1-800 line and the lady on the phone told me they just got the pricing in for Canada:

Base C400 MSRP: $51 400 CAD
Base C300 MSRP: $43 000 CAD

They said all models will come well equipped in Canada. There is no package information or pricing yet but C400 will have AMG Line Body and you will have optional Sports package option where you get Airmatic and 19" rims with high performance 255 tyres (which is very nice and wide for the power it puts down) plus other extras (Interior leather colours).

They are saying for pre order you'll have to put down $1000 and it's fully refundable if you don't like the car after a test drive.

I'm in U.S. and order C400 too.
I just called MBUSA to find out about the pricing, but they don't have it.

Anyway,
I have the April revision for Canada.

how does the new model prices compare to the outgoing one?

The C300 went up while the C400/350 went down. Current C300 is CAN$42,250 while the C350 4matic is $52,800. I think the C300's $750 increase is pretty low and in line with auto press reports that Mercedes had dropped hints prices would be kept in check. The drop in price of the top-of-the-line model is a surprise.

Since the new c class will be built in the US, Mercedes saves approximately 6 % import duties to Canada under the North America free trade agreement. Looks like they aren't passing any of that on to Canadian consumers.

Went to the dealer today. Full pricing for Canada is out. Forgot to grab a printout, will go back next week.

Here is the full c400 pricing attached. Note that the previously quoted base price doesn't include any packages at all.

Wow, A full loaded C400 is $70K give or take.

Can't believe that LED headlights, trunk closer and leather aren't standard.

Mbtek is standard (but you can't get red etc) . And static led lights are standard for the c400 but they don't look as good in my opinion
