tint your ride?

I was in the same boat yesterday. I pulled the trigger on the formula 1 (ceramic) pinnacle 40%. Overall I'm happy with it. I didn't want to hide the red interior but I also didn't want the fishbowl look. If you go darker that 40% you will start finding it harder to see the interior colour. 40% makes the car look like it is tinted but not too dark. I will post pics soon...

Now that I've done 40%, I would not go lighter. But be warned...it's amazing how different 40% can look based on lighting conditions and the angle at which you are looking. On a sunny day it looks pretty light, but in overcast it looks a lot darker. Looking at it directly looks lighter and off angle is darker. I have realized that if you have the Pano roof, the 40% will not be enough for it to seamlessly flow into the rear window tint. 30% is probably just right for that look. The other thing is, in the summer I end up rolling my windows down which shows off the red interior. This makes the window tint almost irrelevant with the exception of the back window. If I could do it all again I might just get 30% or 35%....get the seamless integration into the back window, then roll down the windows to show the interior.....

I went with a net 25% tint on Palladium Silver with a Crystal Grey Leather interior. I love it. I'll get a pic up in the next day or two. Car needs a cleaning first.

Hey,
I'm going to get my windows tinted tomorrow (Formula One Pinnacle)...but I didn't realize that the car came with stock 70% tint already?
So the US C300's (w205) has 70% tint...I was going to get the Pinnacle 35% done...but would that end up being too dark?
As the above poster said, would pinnacle 50 be better b/c of the stock tint?
Thanks

Got the cars tinted today, Formula 1 Pinnacle 35% all around.
Very happy with the outcome and could feel the heat reduction when the sun came out.
Some of the pics make the tint look darker than it really is, but prob b/c of the angle and shade.

I went with the pinnacle 50 on the sides and 30 on the back window to give the car some degree of tint. I am happy with this combination because I can still see the cranberry red even in on a cloudy day.

Hi Guys,
For those that have the tints for a while now, are you seeing the tint getting light scuff marks from the seals? (ie vertical lines from rubbing the seal/felt line)
