Window Tint: 3M vs. V-KOOL

With the immense heat in Dubai, it is almost a necessity to put window tint on the car. I am considering 3M and V-KOOL but would like to know which gives more value for money. V-KOOL is more expensive over here and I know how reliable 3M is. Which do you think will provide a better 30% tint on all windows and a transparent heat reflector tint on the windshield? Getting my car tinted tomorrow for sure before heading for an hour's drive to Abu Dhabi and staying there for 5 to 10 days.

never heard of vkool, i'm sure either one would be fine. I tend to go the "safer" route, so obviously 3m for me. when you think about it, a tint job is kinda disposable, meaning you can always have it redone if you really want. I know money doesnt grow on trees, but I would say go with your gut. you already stated that you know how reliable 3m is, so why not just go with that?

I actually went for vkool 62% heat reduction and 30% tint darkness as it had the better price and IMO better quality. I don't like it too dark because I'd like my red interior to show from outside but not too light either because we have a scorching sun in Dubai.

Not the best tint to get when in a place like in Dubai! Please see my reply to djejglk.

Your tint looks spectacular though! Neat.

You will be surprise, they are not as dark but besides the sun glare, everything is blocked including IR. My interior is at least 10 degree cooler

Even the tint I put drastically reduces the temperature. Mine aren't too dark and not too light, I believe 30% darkness is ideal and with 62% heat reduction. A lot of sun in Dubai so we need a little dark tint.
