Nicely done. I lack any photo editing skills, just a quick snap with my iPhone with a black and white filter.
Although I did just buy a new camera so I will attempt to take some better photos when I have the time :-)

Thanks, but no skill necessary. One click of the mouse with a Picasa tool and it's done. The car is the star of the photo! I'm looking forward to seeing some more photos.

No airmatic here. Sale person not aware about any transportation mode.

So i assume it is just the standard suspension (code 485) with amg package looking strange, this configuration being available in Europe.

I am disappointed by this but I am looking forward to leverage the increased ground clearance

Amo.

Just buy the H&R springs. They will drop about 30-35mm.

Kneel down by the tyre/wheel and have a look at the top of the suspension area above the tyre. You might be able to spot a plastic puck that has been inserted into the strut. They are quite common - various manufacturers use them. One of the pre-delivery steps should be to remove them from the car.

This thread from a VW forum has some pictures, though the exact appearance may differ with your C Class (which looks very nice, by the way!):

I'd ask one of the technical guys about a transport mode, not the sales person. You're lucky if they know where the doors are.

i'll try to check it myself tomorrow - anyway I need to visit the dealer to provide some photos of the tail light fitment as requested by this forum's members.

I just installed 18" AMG reps on my car today for winter mode, temporarily replacing the 19"s and my car sits just like oachim's car. It's very disappointing, especially considering Mercedes nailed the ride height of the W204.

2015 C300 Sport
I just got my C300 Sport RWD with 18' AMG wheels in the US and there is a huge gap between the top of the tires and the bottom of the wheel well. In front it about 2.5 inches and the rear is even larger.

I can't see any transport blocks or anything on the struts/springs.

Is this normal? My 06 BMW 325 with Sport Package and 17' wheels has a tiny gap (about 1 inch).

I would really appreciate if you could share more on the other thread - ground to fender height - about your setup ( suspension code ) as well as some photos with your car using 18" and 19" wheels. Do you really see an improvement when using the 19" wheels ?

Will do. It snowed here today so I'll measure tomorrow once it's melted. The biggest difference in the drive between the 18s/19s is that the OEM tire is a run flat and the ride quality sucks. I'm currently running Pirelli SottoZeros and the car now rides like a dream...just in time for me to screw it up again by lowering it.
