Wow, that Lunar Blue is incredible in the sun! With the Night Package and that wheel style... even better. Loving that combination.
I'm with you on the "base" LED headlights (seems a bit crazy calling them "base", as that's probably around $3000 worth of headlights, lol), I think they look awesome also. Very nice.
Thank you! I agree, they are probably insanely expensive. I don’t want to know what it would cost to replace one of these headlights...
Thanks @Keith66 , @2010C-class ! Yeah I was actually looking for a black or grey one but this one looked real nice in person. Yes, the HOV stickers will come in handy from time to time, well worth overlooking the stickers
PFL205.064 with M276.823 (Oil pump solenoid defeated)
It is retrofittable but there is some programming involved to get the car to recognize it properly and not show the check rear lamp message on the instrument cluster. An adapter might also be required as well.
I’ve seen somewhere a while ago on mbworld of a company that makes aftermarket ones that are just plug and play, they look identical. I don’t remember the company, but maybe an aftermarket light can be an option.
Thanks guys. Looks like the only kit that would work is kunzmanns but they don’t deliver to the US. I guess I could use a friend or freight forwarder....
I am scarred with aftermarket lights and condensation from many experiences in the past
This is the "Official" W205 C-Class Picture Thread.
Do not post more than 2 pictures of your car.
Please post all pictures of YOUR C-Class, do not post pictures of cars that are not owned by YOU. This is better than browsing all the different websites looking for C-Class pictures and going to all the different galleries and clicking on each picture and then hitting the back button! It will be nice to just come here and scroll down the page. Let's try and keep this thread mainly pictures, and if you have a question about someone's C-Class that you see please PM them.
Please note: We have a separate forum for the W204 and W203, so if you own an earlier model please post pictures in the appropriate forum which can be located at the top of the main forum list.
Thanks, and let the picture posting begin!
NOTE:
Non picture related questions, i.e. functionality of equipment, options, pricing, etc., will be deleted without warning.
Just traded in my 2013 C300 4-Matic Sport for a 2019 C300 4-Matic base. Not sure if I like it or not because it's like driving a truck it sits so high. I hate that, it's very hard to get used to but here's a pic!
It sits a little higher then my 204 but that car was lowered on a bilstein suspension. My wife still complains on the 205 its so low. Maybe the avantgarde is higher on its springs in combination with the regular seats that are a bit higher?
Enjoying some end of summer wine tasting in the C350e.
For the keen eyed, yes the car is lifted as I raised the air suspension for the rougher roads going up to the winery. Who need an outback or X-series Volvo when you have an Airmatic Benz
So, stage 3 now on HR springs, factory 18’s with HR spacers to fill well. 20mm front and 30mm rear. Not sure I love the fitment, maybe rear should also be at 20mm. With the factory camber the top of the rear wheel is flush with quarter panel lip. Don’t want to look like a go-kart, I’ll see how it goes. Let me know if you have an opinion.
The huge intercooler replacement arrived and the metal adapter to the throttle body so that will complete the component build, this week or next. the meth system I haven’t ordered yet will finish the overall for power with bolt-ons. Square tip amg exhaust rear diffuser maybe and the grill/headlights will finish exterior. Unless I come across a sweet hood.
Hola all! For my 60th birthday in September, got myself a CPO 2019 C300 Coupe. He lives with his brother, a 2020 GLC 300 (which replaced a 2017 E300) Home is SoCal. It is well equipped with Night and AMG packages, Burmeister stereo, saddle brown leather interior, panoramic sunroof and it seems like almost every option but the illuminated star - the one thing I love having!
While I miss my E-Class, this is so much fun to drive and just as luxurious - cruising on PCH and heck, even in LA traffic.
Other than tinting all the windows (a must-do in SoCal), it is the only mod so far - however I *will* get that illuminated star.
Got light paint correction done for the hybrid and removed 3 years of swirls - or more likely improper use of buffer by the selling dealer as part of "Detailing"
