I once heard of a guy who had a rock punch a small hole in his radiator because it was missing the mesh behind it. Caused a sizable coolant leak. I would definitely add it. Other than that it looks really nice, the paint correction is simply amazing too

Don’t mind the bugs lol. Found these two pics from a road trip I did a couple weeks back, just thought I’d share. We were only two people, but still managed to fit two skis, two ski boot bags, two suit cases, a duffel bag and a case of water and a few smaller miscellaneous things in the car with one seat left. We obviously had to fold down the center seat for the skis. Pretty impressive how much we managed to fit in the trunk and one rear seat all without the need of a ski box.

That’s not an over assumption. I didn’t believe it, so I made sure to check at exactly 300 miles in because I drove without stopping. Sure enough it had exactly half a tank left and 302 miles of range showing. Don’t remember the exact mpg the car showed but it was somewhere around 35 mpg. Had it at 86 mph on cruise and eco mode (2200-2300 rpm). Few instances where we went well above 100 mph to pass trucks with it floored. Slowest we went was about 55 when behind them. Long live the W205!

Yup better safe than sorry plus the mesh doesn't ruin the look thankfully.

I like the effects
keep the colors changing
red
blue
green
look good on their own
I’m not sure they have the FL totally figured out yet
it’s not been a simple “plug & play”
but I like the novelty

Is there a specific colour you like the best though that you want it on longer than the rest?

Haven’t put much thought in bc I can change the color anytime I want
blue looks great for sure
but some better at night, some better during the day

Late to the party

Late to the party as usual.
Here is my 2020 C300. I have had it now for a year or so and the novelty hasn't really worn off, I think I might hold on to it for a rather long time.
I do like the way this thing drives as well as the looks of it, although as you see I have had to make some cosmetic adjustments to make it feel a bit more sporty rather than an older gentleman's cruiser.
Although there is plenty of power in the mild hybrid 4-cylinder for my needs, even for more spirited drives in the mountains, I keep wondering if I should have paid a bit extra and gone for the c43. Perhaps luckily I have never got to drive an AMG so I don't really know what I'm missing.

Either way what do you think of the look I have gone for, I am a bit worried if the spoiler lip was too much?

Oha! Heilbronn ist gar nicht so weit von uns! Tatsächlich lebe ich auch schon seit fast 15 Jahren im Ausland... And I'm afraid I am reaching the limits of my German just about there haha.
I assume work lured you to California and life kept you there, much like it did myself first to Japan and then later on to Germany.

🤔, needs quite a bit more horsepower to qualify for a Formuala 1 car.

Well the garage did it for me so not 100% sure, but pretty sure they wired it to the cars brake light.

C300 AMG Line W205
Just to update/continue "my Mercedes history"...
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ml#post8225882

Sporty look:
Wheels: BBS CH-R R19, front 8.5" ET40, rear 9.5" ET45 (add 10mm spacers)
Tires: Accelera R19, front 235/35/19, rear 265/30/19
Suspension: Stock
Note:
= Use spacers to improve the rear fitment.

Flashy look:
Wheels: Advan Revolution R20, front 8.5" ET45 (add 4mm spacers), rear 10" ET42 (add 4mm spacers)
Tires: Accelera R20, front 225/35/20, rear 255/30/20
Suspension: Stock
Notes:
= Need spacers to clear the brake calipers.
= Use the highest tire profile to improve comfort; the front can go as high as 35, while the rear maxes out at 30 to avoid rubbing.
