Duel View Screen
The Command manual says on page 196 "It is not possible to view a picture from the driver's side while the vehicle is in motion." Is this a duel view screen where you see a different image depending on what side of the car you are on? If so, does it also apply to watching videos?

I don't have Comand, so this may not be the same for you, but on audio 20 anything considered 'visual entertainment' (webpages only in my case) will turn blank when you start driving ...

I haven't tried it yet, but I think all this means is that you can't watch videos while the car is in motion. There are no dual screens.

I test drove a C400 in which I bought along my portable HD with music videos...they played while in park but as soon as you put the car in gear the screen goes blank...

I recall on one of the GLK threads on this site, someone found a hardware code when you go into the program mode that disabled this warning and allowed the video to play.
I am guessing that it is something that is country dependant so it has to be flexible.

It would be great to get Splitview on the C205. I wonder if there's a retrofit that anyone could do?
