As far as I can tell, the fobs are not linked to the seat memory. I have Keyless Go, but not the optional memory package that adds memory to the passenger seat.

I have found no way to have the seat go to its stored memory setting if you unlock the car with the fob. It has to be done manually by holding the memory button on the door. I've seen this same complaint posted before, so I doubt that it's in any way unique to my car.

Also rear seat heaters and rear row climate controls, both available in Canada. Sometimes I wonder what manufacturers are thinking, there are spot in the US as cold if not colder than Canada! Why is it that they don't offer the same cold weather goodies here, has anyone in Germany ever heard of MN, WI, ND, SD, VT,ME and Montana,? The population of the US snow belt is higher than Canada's.
Great idea c4004matic. I could be wrong here but I don't think you can order heated rear seats on a c class in Canada. I think we would have to go to a Hyundai Elantra Limited to get that feature.

Check the manual Im 100% sure of the rear temp zone but not the seats. Kind of breaks my heart since my kids like to fiddle with their own temp an love their own butt warmers on our MDX, however, I dont think theyll be ridding the C in the rear that often.

Yes to the rear temp controls. My post was only referencing the lack of rear heated seats as an option.

I was all excited about the new C-class. The new interior is a big improvement over previous generations

But its a little disappointing reading about all the common luxury items they left out. Things that many other vehicles have like remote start, one-click memory seats, and rear seat heaters. Hell, even my pickup truck has all those things. Shouldn't my Mercedes have at least that and more? Well, in fairness, it does have other special things, but why do I have to give up these goodies?

Are you listening, Daimler?

What are one-click memory seats?

1-click = you don't have to hold the button down the whole time. Similar to the express up/down feature of the windows. This would also be related to linking the memory seats to the key fob (which has already been mentioned).

I think this is also related to the seat not moving back when "easy exit" is enabled. If it never existed before then it wouldn't be as disappointing. But having had this feature before on Mercedes (and currently on other cars/trucks) makes it a more noticeable omission from the new model.

Oh I doubt they'll ever do that because every Mercedes that I know of has been push and hold for memory seats. Could be a safety issue to, as you can stop the seat movement at any time.

Replace the aluminum decorative panel on the dash with matching wood. This glaring piece of aluminum really cheapens the interior.

Although I don't agree that the aluminum cheapens the interior I would prefer there to be one consistent interior trim.

I sat in one at the dealer and the silver trim rings around the air vents looked and felt like cheap plastic, ala Hyundai. were they aluminum? I mean not that it matters, as the presentation is cheap even if the materials aren't.

1. Qi wireless charging mat in centre console
2. Record setting for inbuilt cameras so it can be used as a dash cam
3. Android Auto.

+1 on the PTS Display - on my long term tester, it took me days to spot it, as it is perfectly placed to be obscured by the steering wheel rim!
