Hi All... Sorry if this has been covered before..
I have just taken delivery of my new C Class C220.... Does anyone know if there is an option in the computer setup to enable the acoustic sound of the parking sensors.
I get no beeping regards of how close I get to an object.
The system automatically starts when I get to a slow speed as I can see the blue P and the parking sensor sign in the trip computer window, but no beeping.
The reversing camera work fine but with no beeping.
Any ideas?

Does it not beep when you get into the red zone?

One of the features I like is the no beeping until you get very close. So much less annoying.

No beeping at all.
In the display there is no yellow then red indications at all.

Yes, it should (only) beep when you go "into the red" ... Intermittent with still some room to go .... Continuously if you need to stop ....

Sounds like you don't have front sensors!

What about the back. The indicator on the roof?

You might want to check your front and rear bumpers if you have the sensors.

They should look something similar to this

Have you found that the biping when someone come close to you is never accurate ?

The beeping can be set also for the yellow led indicator part, not only the red leds . This is a setting that can be made by the Xentry diagnostic software. If your dealership is cooperative this can be altered.
