Head Up display with Garmin?

Head Up display with Garmin?
Can anyone confirm if the Head Up Display will show directions from the Garmin SD navigation? Or does it only work with command (multimedia package in US)?

I'm not entirely sure, but from what I asked the dealer, I was told that the HUD wouldn't work with the Garmin Map pilot... however I was told that with this the center display would show maps.

I emailed MBUSA and they stated the HUD would work with Garmin map pilot. Conflicting answers...not sure who to believe

I was going to order the Garmin until I read in the 2015 C-Class Sedan brochure, "Eyes on the road ahead. An optional new Head-Up Display can project an 8"-wide high-resolution virtual image a few feet in front of the windshield. Color graphics show your speed and cruise-control settings, plus the next instruction for the available COMAND® navigation, all well within your natural field of vision." It definitely says "COMMAND navigation", if "COMMAND navigation" is "available". That was good enough for me. I ordered the Multimedia Package with COMMAND.
