c300 base audio schematic.. want to add sub and amp
My girlfriend just picked up a 2015 C300 4matic blk/blk last night.. totally base car with just a roof and heated seats.. she didn't need everything else in the P01 premium package so no Burmeister system... that being said, i'd like to upgrade her audio system a bit with just a small sealed 10" sub and aftermarket amp so she can turn down the bass on the stock speakers and let the bass be handled by a speaker that is meant for it. I've done this in all my previous cars (CTS-V and now 335i) so i'm hoping its just as straight forward. I'm assuming even the base system has a stock amp but can someone point me to where it is and does anyone have a wiring schematic available as well? I'm just looking for the low range speaker R+ R- and L+ L- and of course a remote turn on wire that is hot only when the Aux power is running. Is the stock battery in the trunk or under the hood?
Also, slightly off topic, can the car be programmed to remember to leave the Auto Start Stop disabled? I had to have this coded by the dealership for my BMW but curious if that is the case with the MB.
