Not picked it up, but just done the deal. It's a C200 petrol in a nice blue colour that I can't remember the name of. AMG Line Premium with the 19's and Airmatic suspension. Picking up next week!
I like the colour combo. Blue cars with a linen interior go really well together. I haven't had the chance to see the blue in real life but it is stunning in your pictures. Congrats!
Brilliant Blue is my favorite color for the C-Class - whites and silvers are way too common(no offense to C owners with those colors) Congrats on your stunning car.

I'm in the UK.
I thought I was going to be going through with a factory order. I do really really hate the wait though. My local dealer had a couple of estates in stock, this being one of them. The other was a loaded red 250 diesel that would have been nice, but too expensive. I prefer the blue to the red anyway. The one I got is slightly more expensive than what I would have gone for with a factory order, but it's maybe for the better because the options on it are good ones.

I was checking your MB site. One thing that is a downer is the UK available engines, no 400 version. I guess taxes make that particular version economically untenable in the UK. Given the recent EU court decision of diesel engines how will that affect the UK lineup? Anyone have a guess?

I've always preferred the way a petrol drives and do lot's of short journeys, so didn't really want a diesel. It's a bonus the petrols are cheaper too.
Europe meddling again.... I wish we were out, but that's just my view. Diesels still dominate the engine line-ups from the German brands. We don't even get the C300. It'll be interesting if things change.
There's a lot of British people who'd like a 4matic or a C300 or C400 too, but we don't get any of that. As a country we like to be helpless when the weather gets bad, and leave our diesel on the driveway.
How did the pick up go? Hope all's well with one of the best looking Benz estates I've seen?
Yeah thanks. Only thing that took some working out was how to turn up the satnav voice. Only tend to listen to women when they're shouting. I've added a couple more pics in the stick photo thread, but not taken any with car outside yet. Done 100 miles today and it felt good. Pleased with the engine; i'd not test driven the petrol. The airmatic on 19" runflats seems ok to me too.
