It is not a move em upscale option - its considered baseline for a vehicle class that the W205 plays in.

Again - unfathomable as to the causal when its currently a 4matic vehicle which tends to skew snow country to begin with.

It comes from racing use. It is flame retardant (used to reach certain racing specifications and regulations) and also very durable.
