Diamond White = Lower Residual?
I was surprised to be told that it was £20 per month more expensive on the lease (Over 3 years) due to the car having a lower residual value with this paint. When I questioned the lease company they said it's because it's quite a 'flashy' colour.
I ended up changing to Polar White which actually increased my rental per month by ~£2. This seems odd to me seeing as White is an incredibly popular colour in the UK and I can't see any reason why you would say it gives the car a lower residual, maybe the non metallic Polar but diamond white?..
Anyone got any experience of this when leasing theirs?

Selling a used car with two or more shades of diamond white paint, does not help residuals. This is the risk you pay for with these paint types.
That aside I would agree that a used mercedes w205 with perfect diamod white paint, should attract plenty of punters and fetch a good price.
