love the 2015 c400 - here's what i don't like
the nav and rear view camera take forever to start. the nav starts with a screen that is not the map. if i hit nav can't you just show the map? and it tells me not to be distracted before showing the map? you're distracting me by making me read something that is not the map i'm looking for and having to push a button to get rid of.
it also says activating nav for far too long. if the nav was already activated, why does it have to activate every time?
it would be nice to start the car and be able to put it into reverse and have the rear view cam appear almost instantly.
i'm really surprised by these couple of things - besides these 2 things i love this car.

What nav system do you have?, I have COMAND and am not noticing any delay or lag, I pretty much start, put in reverse and start backing out getting camera picture almost immidiately.
If the car is parked where it cannot "see the sky" it can take longer for the nav system to find a sufficiant number of satellites.

anyone know how you get back to the camera without dis-engagning and re-engaging reverse? I sometimes accidentally brush over the touch pad and then the screen goes back to radio or media or whatever the screen was showing before i engaged reverse

Nav comes up immediately. The on screen warnings are pretty much the norm on any system ... it's a liability issue.

If you have the Garmin map pilot as I do, it does sometimes take a while to load up, I wouldn't say more than 30secs though. Its a pretty good system once working, also updated the latest software release with no issues

Its probably a characteristic of the Garmin system. The Command version is essentially instantaneous.
