phone integration
Totally confused about how a phone integrates with the new C Class, I've an IPhone 5 and have a car with Command and an external phone aerial coming. I understand it connects with Bluetooth but how does it connect to the external aerial? I've seen various phone cradles for previous models, some sites advertise cradles with and without cables and there seems to be a couple of connection standards. Does the W205 need a cradle and what connection does it have in the centre console?

I've never tried an external antenna, but it should connect directly to your iPhone if it's a Bluethooth device. The phone connects to the car via Bluetooth, so the hookup shouldn't be difficult.

stanNH, yes voice and control will be via Bluetooth but connectivity to the aerial can't be as that is Radio Frequency. Are you able to tell me if your car has any connectors for a cradle in the centre console apart from the USB?
