C400 not going away!!

This is my first post a long time reader. This is will be my first MB . I read in these forums that C400 is getting replaced by C450 and you cannot place orders anymore from jan, but i just wanted to confirm that and called the fleet manager yesterday and asked if i could special order a C400, he opens up his configurator and to his surprise could not find it anymore all he could see was the C300, he was like 'What the Hell' i have to find out why i cant see C400 and told me that he would contact or call Germany directly and find out.
Today i got a call from him and here's what he said.
'The good news is C400's are here to stay, they are not going away, they where just put on hold, there's too much demand for C300's and the plant over at Alabama cannot keep up with the demand, so they had to put the C400 on hold and will resume production from march'. He also had some news about the C450, nothing new, 'the engine is tuned up version of C400, the base price could be around $51000, but the guy from germany said that the C450 is going to be a real treat to drive, it has some nice interior upgrades, more standard features than C400'.
The fleet manager said its worth the wait for C450, the production for C450 will start in mid july in Germany and not in US(thats news to me) and will be at the dealership by mid to late September, or if i still feel like going for C400 i can do it in march.

Interesting but I'm skeptical, all of this (C400) info is contrary to everything published by reputable media and echoed by most dealers. The C450 info, skeptical also seeing as the C63 twins will be produced in the US so why would they farm out one car. But who knows. After today maybe they'll mothball the Alabama C line and send production of our North American C's back to where it belongs!!

You had me at Germany. If that is true, then the C450 has been put on my list.

Ditto, I'm still holding to my skeptical comment but if for some reason this tidbit is true, almost a deal clincher.

The C400 is going away for the 2016 model year so I don't get the point of the thread. Doesn't make sense for them to build the C450 in Germany and all the rest of the U.S. cars in Bama. Lot of misinformation here.
