Blacking out a c400
Hi everyone. Looking for opinions. Thinking about blacking out the chrome grill, window trim and rear chrome on my white c400. Considered plasti dip, but decided if i do it, I'm going to have it painted. Plasti dip isn't durable enough for me, plus I want a shiny black gloss finish. But I have mixed feelings about this. The stock look is gorgeous already. But part of me wants to do the black to give the car a bit more menacing look and to differentiate it a bit from the other c class cars. Thoughts???? Comments appreciated.

Over here the cheaper base models all have black trim, so the idea of making my car look "cheaper" seems very distant to me
However I would consider vinyl, if it is proffesionally done it will look almost like gloss paint, its durable and easy to restore if you wanted to.

IMHO, the new C-Class does not do "menacing" particularly well.

Interesting as I have a black c63 estate and have often wondered what it would be like with GOLD trimed bodywork!!! As per the old John Player Special cars. Now I am showing my age!!
