Comfort most of the time, sport occasionally on windy highways, sport plus rarely when I want to really have some fun(not enough open road around NYC). Eco tried it once and it was too slow.

I would imagine that the vast majority drive in comfort mode because it defaults to comfort mode everytime you start the car. I'm training myself to switch to Individual mode everytime I start the car, but I find it annoying and wish that MB would allow it to default to the last setting. It's riduculous the way it works now.

I prefer Individual because I like the sport steering but find the sport transmission settings too aggressive for daily driving. So my individual setting is comfort trans with sport steering and start/stop off (naturally).

Are there restraints on when you can use the agility control? I mean, can you change from sport to sport plus to comfort to eco whilst driving without damaging anything? or do you need to be stopped to change??

How do i change to individual settings?

I see i can adjust their values in the vehicle part, but how do i select/switch into individual agility mode?

Like I know that pushing the agility switch changes from S+ , S, C, E, but where do i see the individual mode?

When using the agility switch, the next mode past sports+ should be individual.

I'm on comfort most of the time, but I prefer the sports mode steering. I've set my Individual mode that way, but usually forgets to switch to it. Maybe I'll have to train myself to make it a pre-drive routine to 1) switch of eco mode 2) switch to individual mode everytime before I drive off!

Same here. Although it's normally left in Comfort since that's the default, I often switch to Individual for the better feel of the Sport steering. I really wish I could program Sport+ steering, but for some reason MB chose not to offer that as an option in the Individual settings.

Sport+ steering is actually different than Sport steering? You sure about that?

Typically on Individual, configured exactly like Sport but with Start/Stop disabled. Lots of creeping traffic here, and I didn't like how frequently the engine was re-starting itself immediately after stopping, only to shut right back down again without delay.

S+ just feels too jumpy, like the transmission can never quite decide where to sit, but it is fun for the little exhaust growl it gives you at the shift points

Sport+ steering definitely feels heavier than Sport on my car. Sport is only slightly heavier than Comfort. The standard weighting is fairly light in Comfort or Eco.

I have the base suspension and don't know if cars with the Sport package get different steering, but I've never seen any mention of that.

so I drive the car mostly in sport mode, except if there is a passenger in the car i put it in comfort mode. I use sport plus just for that extra growl at shift points like dr-sbaitso mentioned, when i want to pass another car maybe a 3 series :P but ya i agree you truly need to do it in open roads the car is just a beast in that mode . Will have to play with the individual mode a bit, based on everyone's responses. but yeah i almost never drive it in eco mode. I actually like the auto start/stop function at red lights, but I can see how annoying it can get if you are on a highway with heavy traffic.

Interesting, my dealer told me that there is no steering difference between Sport and Sport +, but maybe she was wrong. If there really was a difference you would have thought MB would allow you to select it in Individual mode.

Agreed. That would make sense. I'm still wondering if there is a difference.
