Converting UK/EUR Headlights?

Is it possible to convert the headlights to be suitable for use on France specifically?

I have the stickers, but not sure they will work on the all LED headlamps.

The on-line manual section for driving abroad can be found here (hopefully the link will work):

Edit: nope.

Driving abroad

General notes
If your journey takes you to countries where vehicles are driven on the opposite side of the road to the country in which the vehicle is registered, your headlamps must be switched to symmetrical dipped beam as soon as possible after crossing the border (only vehicles with Intelligent Light System). This prevents oncoming traffic from being dazzled. Symmetrical lights do not illuminate as large an area of the edge of the carriageway.

Vehicles with halogen or static LED headlamps

It is not necessary to switch your headlamps to symmetrical dipped beam when driving in countries where vehicles are driven on the opposite side of the road to the country in which the vehicle is registered. Legal requirements are fulfilled without switching the headlamps to symmetrical dipped beam.

Vehicles with Intelligent Light System

Before crossing the border, set the headlamps to symmetrical dipped beam and after returning back to asymmetrical dipped beam via the "Dipped-beam headlamps for driving on the right/left" function in the on-board computer more.

If the headlamps are converted to symmetrical dipped beam, the "motorway mode" and "extended range foglamps" functions are not available.

Thanks for that.

Not sure if my vehicle has the intelligent Light System or not and can't see where I change the lights in any of the menus.

If you download the MB Guides, it says:

"Vehicles with Halogen or Static LED headlamps

It is not necessary to switch the headlamps to symmetrical dipped beam, when driven in countries that drive on the opposite side of the road to the country in which the vehicle is registered. Legal requirements are met without the need to switch to symmetrical beams."

Seems odd to me!

EQE 500 4MATIC replacing EQC 4matic AMG line P
I suspect the beam pattern is simply set flat ie with no kick up to the left or right. We imported a uk rhd eclass to france with xenon. All we had to do was set the beam to the flat setting and it was granted conformity to french rules. The local ct garage - equivilant to mot in uk, advised a vehicle beam can be flat or kick up to the right to comply. Given how much light is sucked out using beam converters it seems a good compromise to me.suspect mb have gone for what is a less complicated solution for having to build lhd and rhd, means they can use just one headlamp assembly.

I believe intelligent light system is an optional upgrade. Your vehicle specs would show if it has the particular system or not.
