Not sure about all my regrets, getting mine this week. I got the designo diamond white, with the crystal grey interior /linden wood, I'm in the South-ish, get a lot of sun with never really knowing if it's going to rain, except those days when you leave the windows cracked, then it's sure to rain. I wanted the performance without the sport, too. I got the 18' twin 5-spoke wheels, I really wanted the amg wheels, maybe I can sweet talk the dealer into something when it gets here. But other than that, mainly I couldn't get all I wanted since M-B grouped options together. I can understand why, having a lot of sku's makes it costly to manufacture/stock parts. Most other things I can probably work around after a while, it's a big enough change form my LaCrosse that I'll be comparing both. Like remote start, or lack of. I'll only need it a few times a year, here, but when you need it, you need it.

More later this week or next week.

Probably should have gone with C400 instead of C300, since the gas is so cheap now. And distronic in the driver assistant package.

I know this post is about regrets, but I'd like to mention what I'm happy I added as well... hope it helps others in making a decision too...

1. added the Driver Assistance Package since my wife would drive too, and I love the Distronic Plus, and it's ability to track the traffic ahead and maintain speed
2. Got the lighting package, it's kinda neat, like it
3. love the pano roof! especially in Ca can use it almost anytime.
4. got the HUD, it's handy to see things without moving your head, although I could also put it in the regret category since wearing my polarized sunglasses brings down the brightness considerably - wish there was an option to change the angle of polarization

my regret! - nothing that I could do about it... wanted to get a flaming red car, but they didn't have that option, go a lunar blue instead, and well it does look good... but red better .

the only thing i sorta regret getting is the sports package because the ride sucks but then i love the styling so if I did it all over again i would probably still get it. actually has anyone tried using conventional tires with sport package to see if ride improves?

regret not getting: (not because i decided against it, but the dealer just didnt have any with these options in stock)

- Lighting package...car looks much better with the full LED headlights and I think the adaptive lights do make a big difference.
- hands free...for $250 its a no brainier, im not sure why dealers dont add this to every car.
- parktronic- again didnt have one on the lot with it. I know how to park but its useful when my sister drives it lol I've tried it on my other MBs and its a nice system to have if ur not very good at parking

I would just like to add for anyone currently shopping that the premium 1 is a must have. its the only way to experience the w205 the way its meant to be
