A couple of questions.
A couple questions for you techy's:
1. Is there a way to cause the speed limits to be displayed on the navi screen? (I have the Multi-Media package)
2: In my previous cars with seat memory, you simply pushed and released a button to cause the seat and mirrors to adjust. With my C300 I have to hold the button down until the adjustments complete. Am I missing something?
Thanks All
Bill

2) That's the way it is. They must've thought it's a safety feature to prevent you from getting pinned by the seat movement. Silly. I wish it was actually linked to the smart key.

Not what I was hoping to hear but it is what it is and I can live with it, especially in light of all the other cool features these cars have. Another question that just came up: What does the Menu Switch on the upper row of switches supposed to do? Mine does nothing. Do I need to activate it?
Thanks

On my BMW the seats move per key. If you use the seat buttons they are automated if the engine is off. If the engine is on then you must hold the buttons until movement is complete.

The key fobs do not store individual memory settings. Pushing the unlock on the fob simply unlocks the doors .... there is no link to the car's memory settings. You do have to depress the memory button on the door until the seats reach their final position.
There is no speed reading on the navigation system which, given how good it is, seems odd.
Everyone has those same two questions when they first get the car. Mercedes does have some odd ways of doing things.

Got the answer from customer care. The menu switch brings up the climate control screen, but only if the engine is running.
