Yep, there sure are. The Mercedes dealer won't return my calls about renting their tool (I understand if they don't want to but at least do me the courtesy of saying so) so my friend bought the proper compressor kit and did the install on Saturday. I'll post my own thread after I get it cleaned up.

The combination of 20" wheels and lowering springs definitely makes a stiff ride. The front doesn't clear parking stops so you have to be careful. Fortunately for me I am used to it. I always lower my cars as soon as I buy them.

Hey man, your car looks awesome! ^_^ May I know what black is your wheel? Is that a semi flat or just matte black or matte black with a little glossifier?

I have always changed springs on my cars and have never had any warranty issues with MB.

I want to change the springs, but afraid to have some problems with warranty, how did you get away with it?

The warranty only becomes an issue when the modified part can be implicated in the failure of another part that would otherwise have been protected by the warranty.

So if you did a drop for example and you then had a suspension related issue that could be directly attributed to you altering the suspension geometry, they could refuse to cover the repair under the warranty. It has to be a specific and clear causation. They can't just declare the entire warranty void and walk away.

Thank you for the information, in my case, I'd keep the OEM shocks, which came with the Sports Package and a few members said they'll be fine. In worst case, the shocks could go bad by the time I've to return my car, due to lease end (3 yrs.). They could say that I'd change the springs and ruin the shocks. Then I'll have to replace the shocks, because they'd not be under warranty. Is this correct?

Right. They're a consumable part not covered under warranty unless they fail prematurely due to a defect.

I wouldn't worry about the Eibach springs to break, but I worry that the dealer might say that I replaced and modified the springs and they caused damages to the OEM shocks. In that case, I'll have to buy new set of OEM shocks, during the lease term or before return the car.

It's a possibility. Stiffer springs are a little harder on the struts.
