Any outside pictures of a Dakota Brown C?
My order is almost on it's way from the leasing company.
But doubting the color.
I now have chosen Tenorite/steel gray.
But the Dakota Brown color is luring me....
It for the C350e a Lease Edition so nt all colors are available.
Most pictures I find, are showroom pictures of Dakota Brown.
Maybe someone here has some real life pictures of it?
Does the intensity of the color vary under different conditions? I think I see somewhat of a golden glow on it sometimes?
Thanks!

Found these on Google....there are more MBs in DB, but not on the C Class. There may be some gold tone in the metalflake when the sun hits it directly, but otherwise, it's sort of a chocolate bar.

They had a base model in DB on my local dealers showroom floor and it looked really nice. Not nice enough for me to buy but it's striking in person.

MB W204, VW Polo, Audi R8 V10 - SOLD.
vic viper has this colour for his wagon. He is quite active on the forum. He will probably chime in at some point or look for some of his pictures he has posted up in other threads. Alternatively you could message him directly to ask for pictures.

I wanted a new color that really stands out from the crowd, 50 shades of grey are by far too common IMO.
I always like to get a "new" color with the model to extend the life of the vehicle, a color that is common and has been available for many different models for a longer period of time such as Tenorite makes the car seem old itself.
BTW, it shouldnt matter what other people think as long as you like it yourself.
These are old pictures I had available at this computer, it is now lowered.

Thx all!
I especially like the first picture of Vic (even though it's not outside ;-)).
There it has that nice glow I wrote about.
From one appointment to another I drove past a large Merc dealer. Had a few minutes to spare so I went in to search for a oak brown, or Cirtine brownas it is called here, Mercedes.
First I saw B class I didn't like but it turned out to be a much darker shade of brown. And around the corner I saw a Citrine Brown C class sedan.
And now I know for sure: I'm changing color! Especially because they also had a C-class with the Exclusive interior there just the way I want it: silk beige and espresso brown leather. I think it looks very classy with the citrine brown!
So I'm following Vic's example: Avantgarde Citrine Brown Wagon!

The few times I've seen a new-ish MB in Dakota Brown although I haven't seen a W205 in brown yet), it looked almost exactly like the pics that vic has posted (perhaps a bit more pure brown and slightly darker).
I imagine the much darker color in the photos posted by Sportstick is prob what the color looks like when it's *very* cloudy or at night.

It is hard to catch the true color on picture, it can be pretty dark under bad lighting conditins, but when exposed to sunlight it gets really nice with the gold tones in the metallic flakes.

I test drove a citrine brown C200 wagon a few weeks ago, and I must say this color looks good on the wagon.
Though eventually I ordered a diamond silver sedan

The back stood in the shadow and was just a dark brown color. Steel grey also was dark. But it doesn't light up as nice under sunlight in my opinion.

No problem. Reading, or writing, is so much more difficult to do than plain old speaking. When speaking, inflections, pauses, tone and such all contribute to the message intended. I find that when I type, I will make mistakes with silly little things like "your" and "you're; or "there" and "their." I know the correct way to use these words, but the fingers type faster than the brain. When reading, the same thing happens in reverse, like missing a coma, LOL.

Also interesting was the contested will that came down to the meaning of the absence of a comma:
I leave $100 to Moe, Larry, and Curly. Each would get $33.33
I leave $100 to Moe, Larry and Curly. Moe got $50 and Larry and Curly each got $25.
The second comma segregated three people; in its absence, Larry and Curly were one unit to share half the total. Real case, but names/amounts have been changed to protect the innocent.
Wow, are we off the OP's topic!! OK, I'm done!
