Transmission
The issue from 2nd to 3rd should be a well known issue. Mercedes Benz has this issue highlighted in their workshop system since July 2014. No solution yet.
My car has the same issue. The have tried adaptation, then changing the torque converter, and now the car has been there for two days and they are changing the controlling unit/system board for the transmission.
Will se later today if the managed to fix the issue.

There is one more part they have to change in the transmission, but the part hadn't arrived yet from Germany. They will call me once the part arrives to change this and see if it gets better.
I told him that this is the sixth time I have been here, so the next time will be the last. we will have to talk about other solutions if that doesnt work.
The weird thing is that it worked perfectly for the first 6000km...

You're right...c63 gets the refreshed mct
So I don't mean to be pessimistic for those of you just now realizing how clunky these transmissions can be... But search the board ... It's all over the place and many models

I have previously owned a W211 and a W212 with the 7G tronic gearbox and no issues.
The worst part was when this one time the mechanic said this was normal behavior. Had to put him straight.
I am patiently waiting for a software update.
If the problem was known by Mercedes in July 2014 - and still no update in february 2015. how long should one patiently wait?
The change of converter was done by instructions form the factory technicians, and the control unit is also by instructions from the factory according to the workshop.
The car is still useable right?
A car for NOK 530.000 (70.000 USD) with a transmission that is jerky is not the customers problem.
If it had gone away when warm, one could live with it. But when the problem is there all the time, it gets very annoying.
Having extremely high paid engineers working on this is probably not priority one...
