Antenna in windshield

I never saw this discussed before I purchased my car. Now, they are very noticeable...especially the one on the driver's side. Two fine lines run parallel and vertical on both sides of the windshield, along with a box pattern at the lower corners. I guess I will get used to them...as I tell myself to ignore them!

I agree, but I still have a plate/cover in the usual place you see a satellite antenna.

Interesting.. see we don't get the satellite radio/data feature down under. Would be keen to see a pic if you got one to share.

I don't have pano roof, and the satellite like cover is on the center/rear of the roof....same place you usually see them.

I am from brisbane Australia and have had my C250 over a week now. It has this antenna in the windshield down both sides as I have Digital TV and Radio. Hardly notice it anymore.

I know.. I'm from Brissy as well. What we have is digital radio (DAB), which is the in-glass antenna. Satellite (Sirius XM) Radio isn't available here and would be a different antenna (i.e. the one under the panel mentioned by Pete)

Sorry my bad. hey when do you get your MB? I got mine delivered to Centenary Classic Moggill Road, Taringa and I heard that the truck delivered it on the Wednesday so that night I drove over to the showroom and there it was sitting there ready for presentation. Best feeling ever!

You're probably one of the lucky few who got theirs from the Tongala (ship). The batch got held up in the holding yard for 3 weeks+ and they released a few of them this week. I'm currently on a C200 loaner from Centenary @ MacG. because there's been a couple of major mix-ups with my order. I should hopefully get it end of next week.

I actually find the shark fins to be pretty played out at this point. They were cool about 10 years ago, but most are actually quite big and chunky. If I didn't have pano, I would prefer the little square cap.
