4matic question
Hey guys,
I have noticed that when running from a complete stop in the snow if the wheels start slipping as soon as I hit the throttle I loose complete control of the throttle for about 3 seconds and the car runs at about 1500 RPMs and then slowly re-engages. I worry that if I'm pulling out into traffic and this happens I'm going to end up T-boned. Is anyone else experiencing this or is there a flaw in my 4matic software? Thanks
-Matt

[QUOTE=omnidive;6343243]I think that is the anti-slip kicking in.....
That's what it feels like but it is more severe than usual. The car literally stops as apposed to slowing down to gain traction. I am interested to know If anyone else in a snowy region is experiencing this or if I should bring it up to the dealer. My car is in the shop now for a few "minor" problems.

It's just the traction control preventing wheel spin. If the road conditions are slippery, and you don't have winter tires on the car, this helps keep the car going in a straight line rather than fish-tailing. The solution is to get a set of good winter rubber on the car.
