Audio Questions
The 2015 C Class has a USB interface that enables a connection with an iPhone. But there is no 1/8" input jack that will simply stream from an audio input.
For those of us who have devices we'd simply like to "play through", has anyone found a solution to go from USB male to a 1/8" male connection that the car will play without trying to recognize the files and generating an error?

The cables are available; the puzzle is whether will they stream through the audio system in the car. The description of the cable on ebay says:
"Use this item to charge and transfer files to your audio device, or some other devices that uses a 3.5mm DC jack. Compatible with ipod shuffle 2nd gen, ipod 3, and some other mp3 players.
It can also be used as an audio wire, but only if the usb device already transmits/receives audio signals. The wire does not convert data signals into audio signals, or vice versa."
The question is whether the car receives audio signals or files. It seems that the USB is receiving file information and then using a codec to play the signal through the speakers.
