squeaky back seats in an S205, anyone?
I just got my S205 estate for 3 weeks, and there quite a few problem I have noticed. Other than the leather defects on the front passenger seat and rattling noise on the dash, the squeaky noise coming from the back seats is driving me crazy. Anyone has this problem? Any success in fixing it by the dealers?

I have some sort of creak from the back somewhere, I've not had time to drive it and diagnose where so far, figuring it will probably go away anyhow. If not, I've plenty of spray lubricant I can put on the hinges etc Its probably best I do it as the dealers will take half the car apart.
Its not loud enough that it bothers me to distraction, its just I like a silent car so its on my list of things to faff with at a weekend. It occurs mainly as the chassis twists over diagonal humps in the road, its just a quiet short intermittent creak.

I was trying to pinpoint the noise for over a week now. It seems folding down the seat will lessen the noise a bit for a while. Then it comes back. I also tried only folding the centre portion of the seats, it is the same.
When I push onto the rear seat back section, I can replicate this noise. Then I ask my friend (who is quite heavy) sitting on that seat while I am driving. The noise is gone. After the seat is empty for a while, the noise comes back.
btw, the noise is usually more noticeable whenever I go over a speed bump or accelerate/decelerate uphill or downhill.

No, I don't have this. There's a slight creak now and then as I say, I think seats or rear hatch perhaps but its hardly noticeable and its certainly not a squeak. The whole car, touch wood, is very quiet.
