Mirror setting on reverse?

Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this has been a topic in the past but I was wondering if there is a setting to have the passenger side mirror drop down when the car is put in reverse?

Appreciate the info

Thx!

This is from memory, so take it for what it's worth.

I believe that you have to move the selector to the right mirror, then put the car in reverse and adjust that mirror to the tilt you want. After that, it should go to that tilted position whenever you put the car in reverse.

I reserve the right to be wrong on this.

And be sure to leave the selector on for the right mirror (the light eventually goes out, but it stays selected).

Stan, congratulations on your new car and your 1000th post (I've read all of them since about post 50!!)

Yikes! I didn't even notice that. Good thing we don't use ink and paper.

It's a great feature for curbs.

Does anyone know if this works on driver side too? I've tried setting it the same but doesn't work?
