I'm looking to upgrade the 18" AMG wheels to something bigger but I didn't want it to weigh more than the stock set. I like the gas mileage I'm getting.
The stock set comes out to ~200 lbs or 90,7kg using TireRack's tire weights but if I use Continental's website the total comes out to 184.2 lbs or 83,5kg.
That's all 4 wheels and tires.
Is there a formula of sorts that shows for every lb or kg that you shave off the car, you get an increase in mileage?
