I have. Wasn't sure if it was my phone or the car's system, but at first it was only syncing the phone audio only. After a few more tries, I got it to work flawlessly with the phone media.

Humm. . . interesting.
Two follow up questions:
Did you guys find that audio was better quality when hooked up via the USB port?
Also, was the media on your phone on the "internal" storage or on a SD card within the phone?
Thanks,

Do you need a special cable or phone for that to work? I have Nexus 6 and cannot see how I can connect it as a media device. I connect through Bluetooth and charge through the USB.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

I think there may be a size limit for it to recognise it as a media device. 32GB from memory but you should still be able to stream via Bluetooth

Quality is identical via USB vs BT. I'm using standard USB cord; connected as a Media Device (mtp), running Android 5.1 on Nexus 5. Media is on internal storage as N5 doesn't have removable storage.
