External door lights question
Locator Lighting is set for on, and the external lighting delay function is set for 15 seconds. What am I missing? Do these only function when it's dark and the headlights are on?
I am thoroughly confused at this point.

I recall seeing a setting for this and it was set to "on" by the factory/dealer.
Neither the side mirror nor door lights engage when I open the door during the day. Also, the headlights are not lit then. I'll try unlocking the door with the remote after dark and see if they come on. If not, there may be a blown fuse and a trip to the dealer. Hopefully, they are on a light sensor and just don't engage until it's dark enough to be needed.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Okay, I'm an idiot. My wife had been using the car for the past week. I just went out, after dark, and it still didn't work. First thing I looked at was the light switch, which had been moved off the Auto position it's supposed to be on. I moved it back to Auto and, VOILA, all the external lights worked normally.
I can't blame my wife ... I'm not allowed to do that by prior agreement ... so I'll have to figure out some way of blaming Mercedes Benz for this and post a complaint on the appropriate thread.
