Garmin Map Pilot: reducing background audio during announcement
I am not sure if this is the right forum. If not, please let me know.
In the setting, there is an option called audio reduction. I am not certain what it does.
One nice feature I used to have in another device is to reduce the volume of background audio (e.g. music) when an announcement is made.
I played music from a USD drive in the background and did not notice much of reduction of the background audio volume.
Does anyone know if this is possible? If not, what does this option do?
Thanks

cheerful - I believe that is what happens. If I recall, the Garmin will lower the radio sound level while giving you instructions. You can raise or lower the GPS volume while you're hearing the instructions.
