prepaid maintenance plan worth it?
The dealer offers me prepaid maintenance for $899. My car is leased for 39 months.
From what i understand i have 3 services during this time. Is $899 worth it? The dealer tells me if it don't take the prepaid plan it will cost me $1300. I'm a first time Mercedes owner. $1300 seems a little high but not impossible.

According to the Mercedes Benz USA web site, a 3 yr/30,000 miles pre-paid maintenance plan (two "A" services, and one "B") is $975 for the C300, so it sounds like you are getting a $76 discount...pretty good since there's not much profit margin for the dealerships with those plans.

I went the CPO route (no lease) and - after the finance hombre offered to credit the first two payments and indicated the first two services would be complimentary - I financed.
I would hope that includes (10k service interval) the 30000 and 40,000 mile services.
Car gets good mileage (purchased at 23,000; 8 months later odo says 27,000. Seems fine.

To late for that MB007 
. have the car for 7 days now. I might just buy it since everyone thinks its a good deal. never serviced a benz before so i wasn't sure of the costs. In any case i have a full year since the date i got my lease to buy it.
