Time to Pull the Trigger
After much waiting, I think it is time to pull the trigger and get into a new C class. My current e350 lease is up in 6 months and Mercedes will do a 4 month lease pull ahead. My dealer is what I call an "MSRP dealer" so even though this is my third Mercedes, I will need to pull teeth to get anything out of them. So it means I will swallow the last 2 months remaining. However, In Ontario Canada, Mercedes does have a 1% rate reduction until the end of the month, and that will take the sting out of those 2 months. I believe there may also be a .75% rate reduction for the lease pull ahead, so I may be looking at reducing the 3.9% rate to 2.15%, which with a 63% residual, will save some good $$.
I wanted a fully loaded c300 (didn't care for HUD), but much to my surprise, my dealer tells me he cannot find any C300 with airmatic and Burmester. How can that be? So, that takes me to the c400, but airmatic on the C400 means summer tires and I will have to get 4 rims and winter tires. Surprisingly, the dealer had a c400 in stock that did not have airmatic. I drove it and found the ride to be better than the c300 sport suspension which I found to be too harsh on our roads (maybe the c400's extra weight helped). My dealer found a c400 with those options and in Palladium, so it looks like I am going to pull the trigger and lease the c400 this week.
Or am I a fool not to wait 3 more months for the 2016 c450? I will lose some discounts, but save on the early lease pull ahead, and who knows what financing/lease rates MB will have for that car.

I hope you get one that is assembled properly without the wind noise.

I'd wait on C400 unless you're getting a heck of a deal, that car was D/C months ago. You'll want a more recent build as it seems from the forum the kinks are being worked out.
Airmatic near impossible to find unless you special order it. Why? i have no idea...it's a great option, and at a great price IMO.
I'd be tempted to wait for C450 if you're wanting the bigger engine.
Good luck with what you decide is best for YOU though!

You might want to try another dealer. If your current dealer can't find you a C300 with the Burmester, he can't be trying too hard since it is part of the very common Premium package. Your package content may vary in Canada, but the Burmester is in many C300's out there. The Airmatic is not nearly as common an option.
The newer production C300's are much better, as far as QC, than the early production. As mentioned before, the C400 is no longer being produced so, if you want the larger motor, you might as well wait for the C450.
