Facebook App is Dead?!?
Facebook obviously isn't critical to running the car. But it's supposed to work...but all of a sudden the facebook app seems to be for the most part disabled. It used to work...it would allow me to read news feeds, post to my wall, and even remember my login. But it seems that recent policy changes have since disabled most functions even when the car is stationary. Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have any info?

I've no idea. I used it once for the novelty. I can do everything I need on my iPhone 20x faster. If they removed the FB app on the Benz tomorrow I wouldn't notice.

Until MB decides to upgrade and/or change its servers, all the Internet apps are so slow that they border on useless. Even the slowest smartphone will outperform the in car system in its present state.
If this feature was really important to me, I'd probably be very annoyed ... but it's not. Maybe, at some point in the future, this will evolve into a user friendly and efficient feature .. something it is certainly not in its current incarnation.
