Blue in laurel wreath hood badge annoys me

I have an arctic white C400. I much prefer the black laurel wreath logo like what is in my wheels center caps, but I can't find a 55mm hood badge like that. I don't want to use an Ebay AMG badge, either. So, I purchased this badge to play with and see if I like it on the front hood. I'll modify an OEM latching mechanism to attach it. Any thoughts?
