Another Case of Excessive Wind Noise
I was driving today during crosswinds and during a fairly windy day, and HOLY HELL was it noisy in my car. I was with my mom driving on the I-5 in Southern California in the high desert region, and she complained to me that it was loud and that she could hear wind coming from my window. She told me she's never heard so much wind in any of the cars she's been in. I'm so disappointed, and frankly, scared knowing that there's a chance that I may be permanently stuck with this problem for the next 5 years. What's so frustrating is that it seemed alright when I test drove the car on the freeway down in Riverside, CA, but I guess it just wasn't the same conditions as I face in the high desert as it is windier in the high desert and that day I test drove my C300, it was just mild wind. I will be contacting my dealer and asking them to replace the seals since that has helped resolve or lessen the problem for other C-Class owners. I deeply hope that it will help with my wind noise problem as I really want to love the car, but the wind noise really makes a negative impact. The noise is coming from where many others have reported...by the upper portion of the side window. To make sure that the problem was with the car and not just the weather, I drove my family's old 2003 Infiniti G35 coupe and 2006 Lexus GS, and went on the freeway today in the same conditions, and I was amazed by how quiet they were. There is definitely something wrong with my car, especially considering many other C-Class owners have not had issues with wind noise.
I turned up my music really loud with a lot of bass and STILL was hearing the constant buffeting sound coming from the upper portion. I have a huge road trip coming soon from LA to New Orleans, and am going to put it off in hopes that I can get this problem dealt with first. I'd be so irritated if I had to hear the buffeting sound for many hours everyday. I was also hearing a lot of wind noise while driving at just 55-60mph while going to the store and back today.
If anyone can recommend a dealer in the SoCal area who has experience in working with this problem, I would really appreciate it. I will be trying with Walters MB in Riverside, CA first since I had such a great first experience with my salesman, and cross my fingers in hopes that the service department will not just dismiss my problem as a non-issue and not attempt any fixes.

I can hear the fluttering but it's largely drowned out by tyre noise at the speeds I need to get to to reproduce the wind flutter.
I did take a video of the wind noise, and he did acknowledge that he heard the turbulence. Thank god because I was afraid he'd say that he couldn't hear anything or that it just sounded normal. I will upload my video later today as I don't have internet at the moment, and thus, can't upload in High Definition.
