Skid plate broken
Last Friday, my car went into a flooded road and the skid plate was broken...
The dealer took the broken part out but they could not fix it because there was no replacement part available. "It's so new that there isn't any replacement part yet".
So the skid plate is hanging and I have to drive it with that. It's not causing safety issue as told by the dealer.
Should I push them to ask MB to have the part available soon?
The car has been out almost a year and I can't believe they still don't have the replacement part.

A clever fibre glass operator with some time would be able to fix your pan. Mine has been knocked about by low clearance on stone & I was able to use the 2 pack resins & fibre glass matting . If added stiffness is required add a little aluminium bracing.Paint the repair black & all is well.
