heated disappointment for steering

Guys, I am finally giving up on the heated steering option. It seems totally illogical on part of MB, heated steering is only available if one orders "black" upholstery (MBTex or leather, no difference), does this make ANY sense?

Yep, that's a bummer. The heated steering wheel is not an option on the Sport steering wheel either (flat bottom wheel).

Other let downs I've encountered on my 2015 C300 Sport 4Matic:

1) No heated rear seats option (like a 3 Series BMW), and no USB charge connections for the rear passengers

2) No remote start

3) No audible signal for rear camera (one needs to add the nearly $1000 "Parktronic" option to get that)

4) Outside passenger mirror doesn't dim like the driver's outside mirror does

5) Unable to turn off engine "Eco Start/Stop" function permanently (like a 3 Series BMW)

6) Free introductory SiriusXM radio subscription is only 6 months (BMW gives you 1 year free), and the traffic subscription is only 3 years (BMW gives 5 years)

7) Slow 3G service. Too bad it's not 4G

8) Only 6 months of free mbrace service. 2016 vehicles get it free for 5 years. What's my incentive then being a 2015 owner to actually PAY for mbrace pass the free 6 month period?

I thought MassC300, that remote start is through some App (which temporarily is disabled but soon will be usable? So you'll have to wait a little, but eventually you'll get it

I've read "rumors" about being able to remote start through mbrace for 2016 models...I'll believe it when I see it for model year 2015.

Having the ability to remote start my 2015 C300 would be the ONLY reason I would actually pay for mbrace past the free 6 month trial period.
