iPod Issues
Having just had my car software updated, engine, gearbox and COMAND I find that my iPod (classic 120GB) is no longer working properly with COMAND. A search for tracks or a playlist results in only one or two tracks being shown from an entire album or playlist. Changing the play mode between sequential and random track play updates the display with the correct number and name of tracks, if I don't do this, the track listing is short with some of the track names missing but replaced with 'track 3' etc. It feels like a bug has been introduced with the new software. It doesn't occur with media register/usb media.
Has anyone else got the latest COMAND software (such as a new build car) with an iPod and do you have any issues?

Ipod issues
I just picked up a 2015 C300 Sport a week ago, and the one thing that I'm having trouble with is using my 150GB Ipod Classic. I've had this device for 10 years and it has been used in my 2011 C300 and 2013 C250 without too many issues (the most notable is the irritating way that the COMAND system takes any artist with a "The" in the name and puts it in the T section). My Ipod has about 14K songs and is probably my main source for music listening.
In any event, I cannot get the ipod interface to either allow the "search" feature to engage (it stays grayed out) and when I go to the artist tab it just is one long alphabetical list without the right hand scroll bar with the individual letters from A to Z available for easier scrolling. I've had the concierge look at it, but she was stumped and a day later I have not heard from her.
I was able to get the equivalent of shuffle to work, so there is that, but otherwise, I could be looking at three years of frustration. It would be okay if they had the 6 disc CD changer, but that is a thing of the past.
There was one day when everything worked the way it is supposed to, but when I disconnected the Ipod to use it elsewhere, and then plugged it in the next day, that was the end of it.
It has only been 7 days, but very frustrating so I came here hoping someone else would have an answer.

Mine wouldn't recognize my iPhone anymore, it says no playlist found or something like that. I used to plug in my iPhone and listen to Spotify and it would show up and display the artist, cover, and album. Now it doesn't anymore even with Apple music/the music app. I haven't updated my firmware/software, but I don't know if the Collision Center did. My 160 GB iPod Classic works fine, but my iPhone doesn't anymore.
Anybody has the same issue? or is it just me?
I prefer the quality of the music when the phone is plugged in over the quality of Bluetooth
