do you offer any options/solutions for a H7 LED bulb for the low beam headlights with reflector housing?
LEDs are not recommended for forward projecting lights in housing not designed specifically to capture LED surface mounted light spread. You typically end up with reduced throw distance and uneven lighting. HID conversion is a better option. We can help you out with either though if you do wish to move forward with LED, but just wanted you to be aware and content with your purchase the first time. Shoot us a PM or email us directly at aznoptics@gmail.com and we can go through in more detail the pros/cons or move forward with purchase options and instructions
The HID bulb is too long and hits the low beam hood, so I'd like to verify compatibility before ordering. Thanks.
Have not had any customer message to us about clearance issues, but we don't track what vehicles they're ordering for when they order from our site. The bulb capsule from base is 46mm in length, which is a bit longer than halogen standard 44mm. If you want to be absolutely sure though, pull out your stock bulb and check the length to see if those are standard or shorter versions.

I pulled a factory halogen, and its 1 5/8" or 42 mm from base to tip. Compared to images I saw of H7 bulbs on the internet, it looks like the factory bulb has a truncated tip. 46 mm is going to be very close to the hood, and perhaps may touch the hood before the bulb contacts the mounting surface.
How does the bulb attach? Is it with a clip or with a twist lock bracket? If it's with a clip, could cushion the bulb a bit so it sits further inside the housing?

The 2016 C300 (W205) is the twistlock style, so no option to add a spacer.
Some of you know this, but for those who haven't checked, we've released a new V5.2a model that uses the latest CREE XBD chipset. Wrapped in a heat shielding shell with gel coat, these might look small, but pack a well balanced brightness while burning cooler than previous designs. Check them out!

What lights are these for exactly? Headlights, low beams? Something else? Thanks.
For the 194 wedge bulbs, for your w205, they can be used for reverse lights, interior glove box lights, interior stepwell lights, interior trunk lights, and interior vanity mirror lights.
For headlights, those would be different. Assuming you have halogens, those would use H7 HID conversion kit (although it's recommended to also do a projector retrofit if you want to maximize your lighting performance).

Thank you for the info.
As for the headlights I have LEDs and I'm not sure how they are built (whether the LED can be replaced separately from the entire assembly or it's more complicated than that).
Ok, so you have upgraded lighting package. No those LEDs are integrated units in there so you can't swap them out unless you're looking to swap the entire housing with aftermarket (why would you though after shelling out the cash for the upgrade).

I'm just trying to think ahead what's going to happen when they burn out.
So, I'll have to replace the entire headlight?
If they burn out... you're honestly SOL from a DIY repair standpoint. You'll most likely have to work with the dealer to either replace the LED compartment within the housing, or most likely just replace the entire housing. This is one of the problems with integrated units.

Thanks.
This is why I was considering halogens ($10 a bulb) but I didn't quite like how they look. Now I pray.

The upgraded lighting system is nice though. And you are under warranty for if it fails. It's after warranty that you start worrying about, but I haven't heard of them failing. I have heard plenty of cases with other integrated LEDs on the vehicle failing though (i.e. the door handle). If you had went with halogens, our recommendation would have been to do a projector retrofit and through an HID conversion kit on there. That way you get the performance, aesthetic color, and ease of swapping out HID bulbs if necessary.

Michael
you have mentioned the fact that the w205 door handle leds do fail and I have had mine replaced by the dealer under warranty, have you considered supplying these as a kit or an exchange service in the future?
