ILS - saw it in action for the first time last night...
So as its summer I've not had chance to use the car in the dark as yet.. Until last night. I finally had chance to do a long ish run in the dark and witness ILS doing its thing.
Even my other half (who could not care less about cars) commented how useful it is that the car highlights signs etc yet doesn't dazzle cars in front.

Agree they are very impressive well worth specifying, ils is always on my list of must haves and this version is the best yet.

Great to hear
How are the highbeams? Does the light slide upwards when you activate it like on the W204 or do they shine up high instantly? I'm still amazed to this day how bright the highbeams are in my W204. It just lights up every visible street sign up ahead into infinity and beyond.

Not used them enough at night to say if they do the normal self levelling adjustment on start up like the old xenon system. I thought the xenon ils system was good but the led is really better in terms of brightness and the auto dimming works well. Like the xenon ils it adjusts levels according to speed as well as wheel position and my only complaint is if you are travelling on high beam and turn into another road the lights dip and there is a delay while the system works out what you are doing and adjusts back to highbeam not e

Sorry tablet trouble.......i was going to go on to say they do not dim so much that you loose illumination but you do see the difference. I notice it particuarly when we slow to turn into our driveway.

Had to make a fairly long drive in the early hours, the other day. These lights are just AMAZING. As JAKC alludes in his W204, the high beams are extremely bright and give terrific long distance illumination. The reaction times for dipping are really quick.
Only issue I had was getting flashed by one oncoming car - the reason for this was that THEIR offside headlight was out, so my beams dipped on his passenger side fine, but illuminated the drivers' side. Demonstrates the accuracy of beam definition - caught me cold for an instant but dipped manually and all was fine....
I came from static Xenons on my W204 and these are 'head and shoulders' better than my previous car - almost makes me look forward to the winter and shorter days, so I get to use them more..... almost!
