Exclamation driver side question

got my car back from the service and realised something i would like to ask you guys a question. on top of the gas pedal there is a plastic piece which hides the cables and all it is where you open the hood is that plastic piece sagging a little or when you push it up with your hand does it lift up and come back down again. would really appreciate your help on this. reason why i am asking is when i was driving today i put my foot on the rest and realised when i put it a little higher then the heel touching the ground (as i usually do) my foot is touching that plastic piece.

thank you in advance.

I am not sure I understand your description. However, my car (C300) doesn't have anything sagging above the gas pedal or the left foot rest. There is nothing my foot can touch. Now, there is a small plastic cover there (I am not sure what is it for) that when opened, hangs above the left foot. But it snaps back in, and is flat when closed.

I hope it helps.

Unless someone tried to boost your car, I think you should have it serviced again.
This is not normal, and could even cause serious problems.
