Distronic PLUS - overtaking on the right

Distronic PLUS - overtaking on the right
In manual for new C class i find information about Distronic PLUS:
"The system takes into account the fact that overtaking on the right is not permitted on motorways or high-speed major roads at speeds above 80 km/h. The driving speed is adjusted to the speed of the queue of vehicles in the adjacent lane to the left."
In my car I can without any problem overtake other cars which drive left line. I ask Mercedes and they told me that it works only in E and S class and not in C class. When I told that this function is described in manual and on video (
from 1:16) they answer that it is an mistake.
Can somebody confirm that it is working/not working in his car?

It looks like my distronic plus adapts its overtaking speed when overtaking on the right.
So it does overtake, but very slowly and once passed by it accelerates to DTR spreed.
Maybe it is regio related. It could be a setting in the boardcomputer.
