Want to feel the cooled seats?
I got into my C300 last night after riding my bike and was wearing mesh shorts. I turned on the cooled seats and WHOOSH! I could definitely tell that they were working.

I didn't think my ventilated seats did anything ... until I just finished a 1200 mile trip in 90 F weather. Whenever I pressed the vent seat button I felt a definite cooling in the seat back. It was very obvious and the first time I really felt it. So, yes, it does work.

I'm paying for the leather interior package in my MY16 C300 just for the ventilated seats. I have a friend who has them in their E Class and I was literally blown away the first time I sat in his car on a hot day (I live in Florida) and got to experience the joy of ventilation!

Oddly, I don't find the black seats in my cabriolet get very hot. The ventilated seats seem to draw the heat and moisture into the seat. Keeps it pretty comfortable. We also have a Porsche Cayenne with cooled seats, they are just awesome. Chilled air is pumped out of the seat, very nicely done. MB took the cheaper route with the cooled seat, but they were also busy developing AirScarf and AirCap.

Gym shorts definitely help 😂
Something else: wait 5-10 minutes until the AC has started blowing nice and cold. Once the vehicle cools down a bit the ventilation is much more effective. 👍🏼
