If you were to do it all over again....

I'm confused by your post. According to MBUSA, on the C Class, Keyless go performs as follows:
"A leap in ease and efficiency pioneered by Mercedes-Benz, KEYLESS-GO® lets you unlock, start and drive away without removing the SmartKey from your pocket or purse. You can lock and unlock the doors with a touch of the exterior handles, and start the engine by stepping on the brake pedal and pushing the KEYLESS-START button on the dash."
That clearly means you can enter the car and start it without touching the smart key.

If you order keyless go without the premium package as a standalone option I think you only get the electronic key but no door sensors. If you look at the manual there are models that have the startup but no door sensors. Again make 100 percent sure that you are getting what you want.

Just ask the guy that started the thread what he ordered, it should be in his order form. He ended up with keyless start but no door sensors, how he did it I dont know.

Actually the person who made the comment wasn't the thread starter, but someone else. It doesn't say where he is, so perhaps not in the US?

In the US Keyless Go is a package that includes Keyless Entry and Keyless Start.
On the 2016 C Class Keyless Start is now standard. If you want to open the doors while keeping the key in your pocket, man purse, satchel, pocketbook etc. you will need to add on Keyless Go.
Hope this helps. And I would def have keyless go on my must have list!

It's all about making more money. Maybe getting anything keyless without having to pay extra for it is kind of nice. Maybe? If it wasn't part of the P1 package (which includes other things I do want), I probably wouldn't have paid extra to be able to open my doors without the key.

I read from this post that many of you don't care for Parktronic. Can you please explain why?
I read 2 YouTube videos and looks like an useful feature. However, both spaces in the illustrations were kind of big as compared to real life parallel parking in cramped downtown streets.

I don't have enough situations to use it. When I do parallel park, I am choosing long enough spaces that I park the car myself.
With the parktronic are the warning alerts if you get too close to an object. I use that EVERY day. Funny story, stuck in NJ Turnpike traffic, have the sensors on ... some inconsiderate driver is trying to maneuver too close ... my parktronic goes off. I start honking my horn. he moves away
BTW - the few times I have valet parked the car, I warn junior not to use any of the elctronics. Dont want some 18 year experimenting with my car.

I have my C300 for about 4 months now.
Options I'm glad I got: Premium sound, blind spot, rear view camera, adjustable suspension
Options I could live without: Panoramic roof
Options I wished I got: Heads up display, cooled seats (Cali)
