cold weather...
does the w205 offer a cold weather package or heated steering wheel in the US? just saw a canadian reviewer complain [and rightly so] that theres NO heated steering wheel available in canada.

For the 2015 W205...no.
For 2016, yes...but not for the flat-bottom "Sport" steering wheel.

As far as I can tell not in the US. No heated rear seat either. If you have the sport package, its not possible anyway since Mercedes doesn't make a flat bottom heated steering wheel. Canada may be another story.

The 2016 model gets a heated steering wheel if you have the non sport wheels.
I've never seen a C-class anywhere with heated rear seats, but some countries do get the rear climate controls (I know Canada does).

Sport Body Styling
Sport Suspension
Black Headliner
18" AMG Wheels
Sport Seats
Front Brakes with Perforated Discs
Aluminum Pedals with Rubber Studs
AMG Floor Mats
Dash with MB-TX and Top-Stitching
There is a code for the AMG Sport Bodystyling, which is 772
It does not appear on the standalone list of individual options.
Your dealer can tell you better if it can be ordered alone.

drove a 16 today. the heated steering wheel is a an option for 250 dollars. so its likely that its a stand alone option on all models. decent car but the seat backs seem narrow and the screen on the dash isnt as good as the s3 I drove afterwards. the s3 is remarkably good and costs a lot less. dont know what to do now.

When you say the screen wasn't as good, which screen are you referring to? The standalone screen or the screen between the speedometer and tach?
If it's the standalone screen, there are two options available. The standard screen on systems without Multimedia equipped cars is a 7" color display. The screen on Multimedia equipped cars is 8.4" High Resolution Color Display.
In order to be fair, you need to know if you're comparing apples to oranges or apples to apples between the C and s3.

Yes, the heated steering wheel is a standalone option for all C Class models, BUT if you get the sport package, you lose the flat bottom steering wheel if you want the heated wheel.

I'm curious in what way you find the Audi screen to be "light years" better? Are you saying you liked the graphics better, or it in your opinion offers better resolution?
