Aftermarket Amp Install
Has anyone had/done and aftermarket amp in their MB? Looking to add a sub in the truck and was wondering where they may have tapped into the speaker wires and everything, and also what the setup looks like.

Aftermarket Amp Install
I tapped into the bottom fuse in the fuse box in the trunk for the remote signal wire because it is only hot when the key is turned in the ignition.
I ran power wires from the battery, across the engine bay, to a firewall on the driver's side, and under trim into the trunk where I have both amps.
I grounded on the frame of the car in the trunk, specifically on the top of the opening from the rear bench to the trunk. Just be sure to remove surface paint if there is any so that you have a quality ground connection.
